For all the time spent,
minutes and hours,
kneeling to honor, seeking,
churning pain and tears,
seeking transformation,
meaning and new way.
Trust the trying.
For all the days spent wondering,
exploring,
analyzing,
feeling,
trying to feel.
Forging paths where none exist.
Inviting you into spaces where I’ve only known darkness.
Trust the trying.
Spirit,
energy,
love,
spark,
light,
divine,
holy of holies,
all power less,
trying to receive,
receiving the trying.
Encircle, enfold, embrace,
Trust the trying.
And let go.
