Kathleen Keaney

Kathleen Keaney is a spiritual guide, Cross Professional supervisor, Retreat facilitator, and soul companion with a background in Theology, spirituality, and pastoral ministry. She holds a Master’s degree in Theology, Spirituality and Pastoral Ministry from St Patrick's Pontifical University and has over a decade of experience working as a healthcare chaplain in both public and private settings.

Trained in Spiritual Guidance and Cross Professional Supervision through the An Croí Wisdom Institute, Kathleen offers contemplative, person-centred accompaniment that honours the unfolding wisdom of the soul. Her work is shaped by Christian mysticism, embodied spirituality, the Divine Feminine, and a deep trust in the sacred movements emerging within ordinary life.

Kathleen’s approach to spiritual guidance and supervision is grounded, compassionate, and contemplative — integrating reflective practice, soulful inquiry, and an openness to the sacred within human experience. Her work is deeply attentive to the movements of the soul, the wisdom carried in the body, and the sacred dimensions of ordinary life. Drawing inspiration from Christian mysticism, the Divine Feminine, and embodied spirituality, Kathleen creates spaces where people can encounter themselves with honesty and tenderness.

Kathleen’s philosophy of spiritual accompaniment speaks to an understanding of the sacred as intimate and alive within human experience. In her own words, spiritual guidance can become “the place where the God of the world transforms into the God of the Womb,” inviting people not simply to seek the Divine, but to embody and express it through their own lives.

Spiritual Guidance

Spiritual Guidance offers a contemplative and person-centred space for exploring the movements of the soul and the presence of the sacred within everyday life. Through deep listening, reflection, conversation, and silence, individuals are supported in discerning meaning, navigating transitions, and deepening their relationship with themselves, others, and the Divine. Rather than offering advice or answers, spiritual guidance honours each person’s unique journey, helping them to listen more deeply to their own wisdom, intuition, and unfolding relationship with life, soul, and the Divine.

    Cross Professional Supervision

Cross Professional Supervision provides a reflective and supportive environment for exploring professional practice with greater awareness and insight. Cross Professional Supervision is a reflective and supportive process where people from different professional backgrounds come together to explore and reflect on their clinical work in a safe and confidential space. Rather than focusing only on performance or problem-solving, Cross professional supervision invites deeper awareness and reflection upon our work, with the aim and intention of opening up to the process of transformational learning. This includes reflection upon how and why we bring ourselves into our work in the ways that we do — emotionally, spiritually, ethically, and relationally. At its heart, cross professional supervision is a space to pause, reflect, and listen more deeply to both the work and the self within the work sphere.

      Anam Aire – Death Doula

Anam Aire – Death Doula offers compassionate, non-medical accompaniment to individuals approaching the end of life, as well as support for their families and communities. Grounded in sacred presence and deep listening, this ministry helps create spaces of dignity, meaning, connection, remembrance, and care during life's most profound transitions. Drawing from the ancient traditions of Celtic Spirituality and the cultural demands of modern living, where death and dying tends to be a medicalised process, a Death Doula helps create spaces of dignity, meaning, and connection during times of transition and grief. An Anam Aire aims to create a space where the dying process is as much a part of living as any other stage or experience. A Death Doula creates space for holding vigil, facilitating conversations about end-of-life wishes, offering ritual or reflective practices, supporting family members, and accompanying the bereaved through mourning and remembrance. The term Anam Aire carries a sense of mindful attendance and sacred accompaniment — being present with Soulful tenderness and reverence at one of life’s most profound thresholds.

            Group Facilitation

Group Facilitation supports meaningful gatherings where people can share, listen, reflect, and grow together. Group facilitation is the intentional art of creating safe, reflective, and engaging spaces where people can gather, share, listen, and grow together. A facilitator guides the flow of the group with care and intentionality, encouraging meaningful participation, honest conversation, and deeper connection among participants, that remains loyal to the purpose of the group. Group facilitation supports the wisdom of the collective to emerge through dialogue, reflection, creativity, and shared experience.

              Group Retreats

Group Retreats offer reflective and nourishing opportunities to step away from the demands of everyday life and enter a more spacious and attentive way of being. Through contemplation, silence, conversation, ritual, and shared presence, retreats create opportunities for renewal, insight, healing, and personal growth.
